Our first destination after lunch, Temple Street, Malacca.
This is our oldest temple in the country. Cheng Hoon Teng temple along Temple Street.
I overheard a tour guide telling his customers that sailors came to this temple and said their prayers for a safe return. Upon safe return, the sailors returns to pay their thanks.
These poles (there's another one of em') signifies the influence this temple had to the sailors. They look like masts don't they?
*story retold based on an eavesdropping activity*
Look at that babe.. erm.. what do you call this in English? Anyone?

nothing better than a game of "pick up sticks".
