Steam Boat Restaurant

I'm not a steam boat fler, I dislike how the heat makes me feel especially in a weather like Malaysia's and heck I don't enjoy the pay-and-cook-yourself concept.. Perhaps I'm plain lazy..

She must have a share, she's HOT, even hotter when she's working hard! I was wondering if I was delusional as I had some beer in the early evening @ Bavarian Bierhaus. Someone else confirmed how cute she was.

I thought I was ze great.. later to realise that the reddish portion of the soup base was just too pepper-ish for me! Literally on fire! So it was left alone most of the time ;-).

A'Famosa Team Building

On the weekend of the 8-9th September 2007..

We had one hell of a time, all of us. The managers included! We were thrown into the pool, we threw ppl in the pool, water balloons, water guns.. Man it was one hell of an away day!!!

My fav. activity was the rafting, where we were provided with 7 long bamboo sticks, 4 short ones and 3 tire tubes and a bunch of strings to tie em' all together. Oh and we were only given one peddle. There were 9 of us in the team, thus 5 had to go across, the hero peddled back to get the other 4.

Careful now, a slight imbalance will throw the raft over. Which happened to a few teams!!!

Of coz this is one hell of a summary of the whole thing, bottom line.. WE HAD A HELL OF A FUN TIME!!!

Surprise no.3

This weekend was perhaps the best weekend filled with surprises for the year!

Some time last week..

HooMan "Dude, Debbie's not ard. this weekend, Peh Ling too, why don't the 3 of us hang out?"
Jason "Blardy good idea mate!"
HooMan "Ok cool, we'll decide on the place later.."

Friday evening on my way back from work..

HooMan "Dude now tht Kelv won't be able to join, u still wanna go ahead with the plan?"
narrator 'Kelv was about to admit himself to get his appendix removed at this time.'
Jason "Sure, why not?"
HooMan "Cool!"

Saturday evening..

Kenneth announces the birth of Joseph!

Jason "Congratulations bla bla.. Hey I'm gg to Soul'ed Out for dinner, wanna join? I'll buy u a beer!"
narrator 'At this point of time, the idea was to dinner at Soul'ed Out'

Kenneth "I still need to eat, but heck I'll give u a call later.."


Phone rings*

HooMan "Why don't we pay BullDog a visit?"
Jason "Hey, I've not been there, gr8 idea!"

On the way.. I call Koh Sing..

Jason "Hey watcha doing? bla bla.."
Koh Sing "Singaporean fren's in town, I'm headed to Cheras.."

We arrive at BullDog..



Jason "Damn I'm starved.."
narrator 'he frantically browses the menu..'
HooMan "Are you going to order already? Why don't we order drinks 1st?"
Jason "Sure, a pint of KilKENNY please.."



I don't know if this was planned or what..

HooMan "I need to go to the washroom.."
Jason "OOOOOoOoOOrhhhh.."

Suddenly.. Out of no where..

Ange "Hello! What a coincidence!"
Koh Sing "Hehehehehe.."

Kenneth "HaahAHAHaha! I suppose you're at your surprise dinner! Happy birthday mate!"

We had the Ultimate 'Bulldog' Burger!!!


We were so stuffed! Ok we got room for a dessert shared amongst 4..

The dessert came much to my surprise! I got a cake!!! HeHEheheHEHehehe :-D

Kenneth and Joey were suppose to be there ... Kelv the organizer was suppose to be there...

The gift of life.. Baby Joseph is born! 15th September, he couldn't wait a few more days ;-)

My buddy was feeling an awkward discomfort in the stomach for the past 9 days. Kelv described it as a peculiar diarrhea thrust.. minus the fluid..

9th day.. appendix was removed..

10th day.. here I am with my camera!

MIFC Finals

Malaysia International Fireworks Competition Finals.

Traffic was a horrible mess. I was directed out of the underground car park even when I had purchased the parking ticket, thinking it was filled. Took me near 30 mins. rounding, with no help from the cops or attendants, everyone was saying "parking sana" while pointing somewhere-out-there. In the end I was pissed and drove back into the underground car park, guess what? This time I went in without any fuss! To my surprise.. there were plenty vacant spots! With cars triple parking everywhere it was a total mess!

I missed a lot of shots, albeit I've never been that close to fireworks and there were 2 irritating lampposts in the way!

We were there somewhere 7:45p.m and entered PICC somewhere around 8:20p.m, was drizzling rather heavily, but we decided to get umbrellas, some chairs and plant our fury asses at a better spot. The main spots were all filled by this time. More than 1 1/2 hours in the drizzle, waiting for something to start, this is definitely the 1st for me.. It was this time when I looked up where the people with more expensive tickets were at, highest floor of PICC, totally uncrowded, with food, sigh~ remind me to spend a lil' more next time.

10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1~ all the hassle was worth it..

The display was nothing less than magnificent! Shucks I don't even know how else to describe the sheer joy and awe as these balls of flames burst in mid air!

We were hanging around for a good hour hoping to traffic to clear a lil'.


Traffic was pretty good until a few kms before the Puchong Selatan toll.


Pretty neat curve huh..


Australia was announced the winner.. It was a waste I missed the display by OZ.. now there's something missing.. darn..
