Mobile - ring*ring?

An item we are accustomed to being our loyal servant. One we would not leave home without. A device tht brings joy. A gadget tht entertains. Just tht something tht completes the gadgety lives of ours.

Now, how many of us know the basics of our mobile phones? How do we make a call, how are we located? How does 2 calls connect? Better, how does International Roaming works? The stuff that killed satellite phones.

Well here's a glimpse of how a mobile switch room looks like

There's an obvious "finishing" difference from the "shiny n spanky" from abv. Oh well u get wat u pay for.

These are only a tiny portion of the infrastructure needed to make one phone call possible.

Hey! Them things that are in the ceilings that hold ze cables...it's called cable tray. Hehehe...sorry lah...bring a typical engineer. :)
