On Hanoi Soil

Yipee! i’m going to Hanoi, Vietnam for work! oh boy oh boy I’m excited.

It was on this date that I landed in Noibai International Airport, Hanoi, Vietnam. The flight was delayed as the airspace in Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) was closed for Independence day practise. So I was stuck in the plane for over an hour. The whole flight was a disaster! There was a company trip and the back portion of the plane where they were n coincidentally where I was as well was a total market place. I was on the aisle seat, and the fella on my right, across the small lane was the noisiest of all! He talked practically non-stopped for the entire 3 hours and 20 minutes flight! Boy oh boy oh boy~ Oh well, the plane finally landed, what a relief. I headed for the main door where I got an airport taxi. The fare is US$10 to anywhere in Hanoi town.

While on the way to the hotel, I was greeted with constant honking. At first I was wondering what the driver was horning for. It jusk continued on and on and on and on! Irritated the hell out of me. Not long I realised it’s actually the driving style here! They honk not to tell you to buzz of, but to tell you that they are approaching! Totally crazee! Imagine an hour ride with constant honking. Oh Boy.

Well, checked in around 4:30, hey the room is nice. I immediately logged on to see if anyone was looking for me. Oh well, seems like i got the rest of the day off. Hehe.
