With my kit lens 18-70mm (Dynax 5D) it would be pretty impossible to achieve these close-ups.

Using +3. These are not crops, actual foto resized. The sharpness is SUPERB!

Look what I've got here.. Hoya lens filters!!! The best-est part of it? FOC courtesy of a very very kind friend, she promises to dig up more for me.. hint* hint*

They looked like they'd been stowed away fer months if not years, so a lil cleaning was needed.

From the left:
1. Hoya 53 - 55mm step-up ring
2. Hoya Multi-Vision
3. Hoya +3



Alcohol solution, cotton buds, facial tissue were the weapons.



Using the step-up ring causes the outer black circle when the zoom is shortest(18mm).
