So how does a 40+ year old bottle of whisky look like? Pretty much the same huh.. But how is the taste? :-) it's smooth, it somehow didn't taste as strong/harsh.. in simple words.. pure heaven..
Neat.. didn't want any rocks to dilute the mmm oh so heavenly fluid..

what da ya mean 40+ year old? The shelf years or the aging?
standard aging before bottling would be 12 years or something like that.. 40+ extra years of aging on a home's shelf. It was me granddad's collection.. he has quite a few more bottles even.. some brandy with the cork already showing signs of rotting :-D
