1st successful shot using the Pentacon 50mm/f1.8
It took me a lot of tests. I was beginning to doubt everything else but myself. Then I reached enlightenment. Somehow I had to turn off Anti Shake, else every shot was not even near sharp, at whatever aperture.
The above at 100% crop.
Manual focus maybe fun, however it's not meant for the faint hearted..

Happy Birthday Yoda!
He turned 4 yesterday.
Best thing bout hving a dog? The way they greet u when u come home. The sheer joy as they wag their tails, jumping for attention. How they faithfully wait for your return. How no matter how you've been mean, they come wagging their tails.

CNY 2007 @ the Curve
Wat taking a few shots when a personnel came to me informing me tht we're not allowed to shoot "items". If we wanna shoot, we'd need at least a "person" somewhere ard. the item. Some kinda intellectual property protection thingie I suppose. Do we smell plagiarism?

Pillow material..
It's spring cleaning time! Erm.. spring.. yeh.. The new lunar year's just round the corner!
Most of the time, there's a misconception that dogs with short fur sheds less.
Pugs shed all-year-round and shed even more seasonally.
Weekly harvest:

Hyundai Matrix - Face Lift
Here's the deal..
Junction with a set of luvly traffic lights. Was a rainy evening. Visible light still abundant.
Car comes.. driver dun see traffic lights.. driver don't see road divider.. driver.. drives..
Driver navigates car onto divider... to clean bottom of the car FOC, with the lil grass available... kinda like brushing...
Driver doesn't see the traffic light... driver gets up close n personal with lamp pole... decides to get a face lift ... in the expense of a pole ... pole suffers ... it's crushed!!!
What actually happened? There could be so many versions...

Chinese Flower Tea
Venue: NanXiang Restaurant, The Curve
Was so impressed... tea came in a "ball of grass"
Oh~ it'll cost u RM10++ for a cup of nature...
Ball of grass afloat. An affair with hot water...
It got too heavy n sunk. Titanic style!
It decides to make full volume use. "I'm a survivor!"
Sinking ain't stopping it, it grew a "periscope"!
All in abt 5 minutes. Nature takes it course.

what? wha? ohhhh...
Abt an hour ago, I was at SS2. After I was done with collecting my vehicle registration card, there was a buzzing crowd across the street.
It was SS2's normal morning market. This time ard., with a twist. Instead of having meat n vegetables, there were other stuff ... clothes, chinese new year stuff ... yes ...
Then it dawned upon me, I'm missing something here... the CNY spirit!!! Best of all, I didn't have my camera with me..

renewing vehicle insurance ... 2007
Walked into an agent's office.
Communicated:
1. Amount to be insured
2. Windscreen to be insured
3. Accidental death (non-related)
4. Additional driver
Agent sits at computer, fills in a form for Pacific Insurance, hits enter, system cross checks with JPJ's blacklist, approved. Print cover note.
In 15 minutes, u'r all set to go! of coz abt 1k poorer even after a 55% NCD discount!
Technology ... oh sweet technology ...
OK I admit, it took me abt 45 mins there, coz we were talking abt north south east west stories ;-)
Down side? I've gotta do up my road tax on me own due to time constraints. This would mean the need to get the car registration card or more commonly known as the pink card from the finance co. and the road tax from the post office. Oh well, the prize for doing stuff last min.

gmail r0cks!
When I started using gmail, I was amazed by it's clean looks and intuitive features. The conversation concept they deployed was much to like and dislike, boils down to getting used to it.
Just minutes ago, I replied an email and left the page there as I went along. When I came back, I saw this lil float box and the lower right corner! Simply sweet!
p.s I paid the GPB1.99 for insurance

yawn~
wow, it's been like weeks since I last posted.
Where's my Pentacon lens? In the closet.
Where are the shots? In the making.
Why? The M42 adapter's lost in the mail.
Woo haa, nx time, buy insurance.
The seller's kind enough to resend the item to me, this time I'd only have to bear the shipping insurance, which is 1.99 pounds.
The deal? I'l lwait till this evening, if the adapter ain't here yet, I'll paypall the amt and wait another 10 - 15 working days.
Just watched American Pie. Gawd it made me laff by bollocks crooked!
